About Ms. Webb

“Lover of learning” or “life-long learner”, is how Tamesha often describes herself. Originally from Long Island, New York, Tamesha has become a “go to person” for all things educations- this is what sparked the vision to create this platform. Upon graduating from high school, she went on to attend Clark Atlanta University (CAU), where she received her Bachelor of Art in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Tamesha just knew that she would take on a career in the fashion industry as a merchandiser or a stylist. However, life took her on a different journey. While at CAU, Tamesha volunteered at a local middle school which ignited her interested in education. After she graduated, she became an elementary teacher in Baltimore City. While there, she earned a Master of Science in Educational Studies and a Graduate Certificate in School Leadership and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University. Wanting to be closer to family, Tamesha returned to New York, where she continued teaching as a middle school history teacher. During this time, she began to explore leadership roles outside of the classroom, eventually becoming an Instructional Coach and Content Specialist for Teach for America’s Summer Institute through a partnership with Relay Graduate School for Education. This role was the beginning of her journey to school leadership. Tamesha went on to attend the Harvard Graduate School of Education, graduating with a Master of Education in School Leadership with a focus in School Development. Her goal is to one day lead an all-girls school where young women are encouraged to lead, explore, and take risks.

Tamesha’s motto is to “always lead with love” and she is a firm believer that knowledge is power. If Tamesha can support or be a resource to someone on the journey to actualizing their goals, she believes that she must do so. Her experience in, and knowledge of education has become her gateway to supporting others. She lives by the words of Dr. Maya Angelou, “When you get, give. When you learn, teach.”

When Tamesha is not working, she loves to travel, attend music concerts, and spend quality time with family and friends. She is a lover of all things pink and green, and is an eternal Whitney Houston fan!

In the words of Ms. Webb

"My philosophy on education (and life) has always been simple… lead with love! I would consider myself to be a giver (and pretty resourceful). Because of this, I am often the “go to” person when others seek advice. This was the inspiration behind creating this website. I wanted to develop a one stop shop for all things education- a central place where people can access knowledge and resources."
