About Dr. Webb
Dr. Tamesha Webb's personal motto has always been to "Lead with Love"—a philosophy that has shaped both her personal and professional journey. Originally from Long Island, New York, she has become a trusted educational leader, mentor, and thought partner, inspiring the creation of this platform to share resources, insights, and opportunities that empower educators, students, and aspiring leaders.
Although she earned her bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Clark Atlanta University with plans to pursue a career in the fashion industry, a volunteer experience at a local middle school changed the course of her life. That experience ignited a passion for education that has guided her ever since.
Dr. Webb began her career as an elementary school teacher in Baltimore through Teach For America before returning to New York, where she continued teaching and eventually transitioned into instructional coaching and school leadership. She earned a Master of Science in Educational Studies and a Graduate Certificate in School Leadership and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University, followed by a Master of Education in School Leadership and a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Today, Dr. Webb serves as a systems leader, leadership coach, and education consultant dedicated to strengthening schools and districts through instructional leadership, leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational improvement. She partners with schools, districts, and educational leaders to transform vision into action. Guided by her belief in leading with love, she remains deeply committed to advancing educational equity, developing future leaders, and expanding opportunities for girls and young women through mentorship, scholarship, and leadership initiatives.
Dr. Webb firmly believes that knowledge is power and that leadership is rooted in service. She is passionate about sharing her experiences and expertise to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. Education has become the vehicle through which she empowers others, and she lives by the words of Dr. Maya Angelou: "When you get, give. When you learn, teach."
When she's not working, Dr. Webb enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her beloved French Bulldog, Montana-Whitney. She is a lover of all things pink and green, as she is a proud and dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. She is also an eternal Whitney Houston fan!
